Your home is probably the most expensive purchase you’ll ever make, and home insurance gives you peace of mind that if something goes wrong, you’ll be able to fix it.
Buildings Insurance
Buildings Insurance is made up of two parts, namely:
1. The Private House
The Private House (which includes garages with direct access from the Private House) including fixtures and fittings therein and thereon, occupied for residential purposes only, built with brick, stone or concrete and roofed substantially with slates, tiles, or other incombustible materials
2. Domestic Outbuildings
Domestic outbuildings, detached garages, swimming pools, tennis courts, including fixtures and fittings therein and thereon, fuel storage tanks and their contents, terraces, patios, driveways, footpaths, walls, gates and fences, lawns, hedges; all situate as stated on Your Home Insurance Schedule on a site not exceeding two acres in area.
Contents Insurance
Contents insurance is household goods, including fittings and fixtures, and personal effects belonging to you (or for which you are legally responsible) or belonging to members of your household and domestic employees permanently residing with you, all in the private house and domestic outbuildings.

Buildings Cover
We have two different cover options for you to choose from - Plus and Premium.
Contents Cover
We have two different cover options ‘Plus and Premium’ for you to choose from.

We offer six additional covers for extra peace of mind
1) Accidental damage
Accidental damage cover to the contents in addition to the perils listed above.
2) Unspecified items
We will cover your Personal Effects, Jewellery, Photographic Equipment, Clothing and Sports Equipment anywhere in the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, Great Britain, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man, and for not more than 60 days in any one period of insurance while elsewhere in the world, up to the total value selected.
Please note: The maximum sum insured per item is €1,000 (exclusions and restrictions apply).
3) Specified Items
We will cover your valuables anywhere in the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, Great Britain, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man, and for not more than 60 days in any one period of insurance while elsewhere in the world and up to the value insured on your policy.
Please note: A valuation within the last 2 years is required for items valued at €5,000 or more.
4) Pedal cycles
We will cover your pedal cycles for accidental loss or damage by theft or attempted theft while being used by you or any member of your household whilst away from your home provided the pedal cycle(s) are specified on your Policy Schedule.
5) Family accident protection
If an insured person suffers bodily injury during the time of cover and period of insurance, which within two years solely and independently of any other cause results in death, loss of sight, loss of limbs, permanent total disability, or hospitalisation.
6) Disaster mortgage / cash cover
We will pay you the sum equivalent to Your monthly mortgage payment if a covered loss renders your primary residence temporarily uninhabitable for a period exceeding 72 hours following the event.
